Tens of thousands of people called for the Eight Amendment to be saved today. The annual Rally for Life event kicked off at Dublin's Parnell Square at 2pm and walked through the city centre before reaching Merrion Square. The crowd were met by a counter-rally of pro-choice campaigners on O'Connell Street, who want the Eight Amendment to be repealed.
