A baby boy was delivered outside a garda station after a mother 'couldn't make it to hospital'.
Dublin Fire Brigade paramedics were called to the scene outside Kevin Street station in Dublin at 10am on Tuesday.
A spokesman explained: "The mother was on her way to the Coombe Hospital. However when they made it to Kevin Street station she couldn't go any further. She had to deliver there and then."
A DFB ambulance unit from Dolphin's Barn were called to the scene where they helped the mother who delivered the baby herself within the car.
Ambulance and fire crew provided care to both mother and baby boy before they were transported to Holles Street.
