Sitting on a private property on Galtymore Road in Drimnagh, South Dublin the property has a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

Mr Garvey explained that unit has been fully insulated and has gas fire central heating.

"On the outside it looks like a prefab that you may have gone to school in but inside it couldn't be more different.

"It has everything that a modern property would have and more. There is heat board insulation and full gas fire central heating."

Mr Garvey explained that the prefab is at the rear of an existing private property on Galtymore Road.

Asked if it might be a solution to Dublin's rental crisis the estate agent said: "It could be a short term solution."

A number of people have already responded to the advertisement on Daft.ie and Mr Garvey admitted that they weren't all positive.

However he said the vast majority of calls have been from people interested in leasing the unit.

"I won't have any trouble leasing it. I am showing it tomorrow and I am confident there will be a large crowd to see it."

The minimum lease on the property is one year and at the time of publication it had been viewed over 10,300 times.

Would you rent this one-bedroom prefab for €1,300 per month?
