Gusty showers and thunder expected to hit country

Gusty showers and thunder are expected this evening along with some sunny spells.
Showers along the Atlantic counties will slowly spread across all parts of the country this morning.
The showers will soon become heavy and gusty, and there's a risk of thunder, Met Eireann says.
Later on in the day some bright sunny spells will emerge, and temperatures will rise to between 16 and 18 degrees.
Tonight, the number of showers will lessen, and temperatures will fall to between 7 to 9 degrees in light breezes.
Showers will continue tomorrow, with sporadic heavy showers and a minor risk of some thunder.
Some drier and brighter spells will then build up in addition, with highs of 15 to 18 degrees in light breezes.
The rest of the week will see outbreaks of rain.
The lowest temperatures on Monday will be between 7 to 9 degrees in light northwest winds.
Tuesday morning will see some outbreaks of rain, which will turn more showery throughout the afternoon.
A number of these showers will be heavy and there is the possibility of some thunder. The showers will die off later in the evening. Temperatures will reach 16 to 19 degrees.
Wednesday will begin with a dry bright start, but it will become cloudier along western coastal counties with some patchy rain and drizzle.
Elsewhere in the country it should stay dry. Top temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees are expected.
There will be some light showers on Thursday however many places look like staying dry. Highs of 17 to 19 degrees are expected.
