'Getting to London can be quicker than getting across Dublin in traffic'

Nicola Byrne, CEO of the directory enquiries company 11890, travels between Dublin and London up to 30 times a year on business.
Living in Malahide, she considers herself "fortunate" to be just a seven-minute drive from the airport.
"It's so easy to get in and out of the airport area. I can journey to London in the guts of an hour and 45 minutes - and sometimes that's quicker than getting to the other side of the city depending on M50 traffic," she told the Irish Independent.
"Since the new terminal came into operation, the airport is incredibly well planned, especially if you're an organised traveller and have done your pre-check-in."
She said it came as no surprise to her that London-Dublin is now the world's second-busiest international air route.
She believes that in years to come Terminal 2 will prove to be "one of Ireland's greatest assets".
"I recently flew to Washington and on to Las Vegas, before coming back to Ireland. When you see other airports, you realise that in Dublin, and in particular with Terminal 2, we have a world- class facility.
"We've really done well by investing in it."
