Gardai renew appeal for missing Dublin pensioner Thomas Kennedy (81)
Gardaí are renewing their appeal for 81 year old Thomas Kennedy who has been missing from Finglas since 29th July 2014.
The 81-year-old was last seen 13 days ago, and his wife Fran today pleaded with the public to help her family with any information they may have surrounding the pensioner’s whereabouts.
The family are growing increasingly concerned for their loving father, as the last confirmed sighting of him was outside his house in Virginia Park, Finglas, on July 29 at 9.30pm.
“If anybody has seen Tommy, or if he is still out there, can he just please come home,” his wife added. “I need him home.”
Thomas was last seen in the Virginia Park area, Finglas, at approximately 9pm on Tuesday 29th July 2014. Approximately 5ft 4” in height, of slim build with short grey hair, Thomas was wearing a black rain jacket with a hood, short sleeved white and blue polo shirt, dark chino style trousers, black shoes with a velcro fastener and no laces. Thomas wears glasses and a watch.
It is thought that he was putting out the bins outside his home when he disappeared, and there have been several unconfirmed sightings since.
Hundreds of people have been assisting the family with searches across Dublin, including the Civil Defence and a search dog called Max, who was donated to the voluntary organisation by the Peggy Mangan Foundation.
