Gardai make appeal after man found dead on Dublin street

Gardai are investigating the sudden death of a man who collapsed on Westland Row this morning.
The man died on Westland Row, near Trinity College at approximately 7.30am and Gardai are exploring the idea that he became unwell.
The man, who was wearing an orange jacket, was found collapsed on Westland Row.
A passing motorist stopped and rendered first aid and CPR.
The man was brought to St. James's Hospital but later died. A post mortem is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow.
Gardai said the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear but it is not being treated as suspicious.
The street remains closed to traffic and diversions are in place.
There were a number of people on the street at that time and Gardai are seeking their assistance in relation to the incident.
Gardai in Pearse Street are asking anybody who may have been on Westland Row between 7.25am and 7.45am this morning and witnessed this man or who can assist with the investigation to contact them on 01- 6669000, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
