Gardai discover €400k of cannabis plants in south Dublin growhouse

Gardaí have discovered cannabis plants with a street value of €400,000 in a grow house that was being operated in Firhouse in south Dublin.

More than 500 plants, which were in all stages of growth but mostly mature, were found growing in four rooms in the house in Wood Dale Crescent near Ballycullen yesterday.

The search was carried out by Gardaí attached to Rathfarnham Garda Station with the assistance of the Tallaght Drugs Unit.

The scene is currently being technically examined and the investigation is ongoing.

There have been no arrests.
