Gardai appeal for witnesses of road crash which led to death of 84-year-old woman

Gardai have appealed for witnesses of an incident where an 84-year-old woman was injured when the car the car in which she was travelling collided with a refuse lorry.

Gardaí in New Ross are renewing their appeal for witnesses following the crash on the L8025 at Old Ross, Co.Wexford, on January 16.

The woman was injured when the car she was a passenger in collided with a refuse lorry at around 12.15pm.

She was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital, but she died there two weeks later on January 30.

The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured.
