Garda probe underway after man stabbed to death in Dublin's south inner city in early hours

Garda forensic teams are at a flat complex in Dublin's south inner city following a fatal stabbing in the early hours of this morning.
A 21-year-old man died after he was stabbed to death.
The incident occurred shortly before 2.45am at the Oliver Bond flat complex, close to Islandbridge in Dublin 8.
The victim received serious stab wounds and was rushed to the nearby St James's Hospital for treatment.
He was later pronounced death.
A post mortem is expected to take place later today.
Gardai at Kevin Street garda station are investigating.

The fatal stabbing came just seven hours after man was seriously injured after he was stabbed while attending a bonfire in West Dublin.
This incident occurred at Drumheath in Blanchardstown, West Dublin, at approximately 7.30pm last night.
He received serious stab injuries and was rushed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.
His condition has been described as critical.
A garda investigation is now underway and the scene has been preserved for technical examination.
There have been no arrests.
