Firefighters battle blaze at city centre building after Halloween stash catches fire
Dublin fire brigade has battled a massive blaze at a derelict building in the city centre today.
Officers were called to the scene on York Street in the South Inner City shortly before 1pm.
It is believed that the blaze began when pallets, that were being collected for Halloween celebrations, caught fire.
Four fire engines and a turntable ladder attended the scene.
The derelict was accessed by officers through other premises.
No one was injured in the incident . The blaze was brought under control after 5pm.
