Fire brigade battles car fire in south Dublin

The Dublin Fire Brigade battled a blaze this afternoon as a car went on fire in south Dublin.

One unit responded from Tallaght fire station and brought the blaze under control.

The fire broke out near the train station in Cherry Orchard, in the Ballyfermot area at around one o'clock.

No one was reported as injured in the incident.

It is unclear as of yet how the fire started.
