TODAY FM'S Jenny Kelly described it as an "emotional day" as she hung up her headphones after nearly 14 years working alongside her husband, DJ Ray D'Arcy.
During the final hour of yesterday's programme dedicated to her send-off, the popular presenter and producer said she wanted to spend more time with children Kate (7) and Tom (2).
An emotional Ray told her how he was "very lucky" to have her both as his wife and on the show. He praised her skills as a radio presenter and her "life skills".
Jenny (pictured) and Ray got married at a ceremony in Tankardstown House in August 2013.
She had returned to the programme last January from maternity leave after an 18-month absence but said she had felt like something was missing.
Several people were brought in to reminisce over her time on the station, including Independent.ie editor Fionnuala O'Leary, who worked with Jenny on the road at the start.
Ray signed off on the show by saying: "Thanks for the laughs ... thank you, Jenny."
