DART services in Dublin were delayed this morning after a commuter fell ill.
Passengers reported long delays to Southbound services as an ambulance attempted to get to the train.
Drivers told passengers that there would be up to 30 minute delays on services.
Iarnroid Eireann tweeted: "Delays to Southbound DART services through Lansdowne, awaiting emergency services for ill passenger on-board, updates to follow."
Earlier Iarnroid Eireann said they were operating at full capacity with Commuter and Dart Services being "v.busy".
Shortly before 9.15am the train provider confirmed that services were resuming "with delays of up to 40 minutes".
