This good news comes f Met Eireann, who maintains that we will have “nice summer weather” with temperatures in the mid twenties.

According to the forecaster, we can expect dry weather in the coming days, with plenty of sunshine.

Evenings will remain bright and pleasant, and it is expected to be close and humid overnight.

There will, however, be risks of showers during the second half of the week.

Temperatures will drop slightly for the weekend, but remain in the region of the high teens to low twenties.

“This weekend will be sunny as well, just a bit cooler,” Met Eireann’s spokeswoman confirmed.

Here’s hoping for a repeat of last year’s record breaking July weather- where temperatures soared over 25 degrees on several occasions.
