Delays for LUAS commuters following incident between tram and cyclist at IFSC

Delays to the LUAS service have been reported this morning following an incident in the busy IFSC area.
A tram travelling on the Red Line was involved in an incident with a cyclist in the financial hub.
Gardai, Dublin Fire Brigade and an ambulance arrived at the scene on Mayor Street shortly before 8am.
Commuters travelling on the Red Line service have been warned to expect significant knock-on delays.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
However, the incident has now been cleared and the tram has moved on.
A LUAS spokesperson said earlier that the service will only be running as far as Connolly station while the incident was ongoing.
Tickets were valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.
There have been no serious injuried reported.
