Cyclist (30s) dies after being struck by car near Dublin's Phoenix Park
A cyclist has died after he was struck by a car in Dublin this afternoon.
A male (30s), a pedal cyclist, was seriously injured on Conyngham Road, Dublin 8 at approximately 2:15pm.
He was taken to St. James Hospital where he later passed away and a post mortem will take place.
The female driver (40s) received minor injuries.
Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) and an advanced paramedic were dealing with the incident.
The scene of the collision on Conyngham Road is currently closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at scene. Road diversions are in place.
