Concerns raised for man who vanished from his Co Carlow home

Gardaí have appealed fro help locating a man who disappeared from his home on Saturday.

Edward Canavan was last seen in Coolnasneachta, Myshall, County Carlow at 9am.

He left his home on foot.

He is described as being 5'6" in height, of medium build, balding and has blue eyes. When last seen Edward was wearing a dark grey coloured cardigan and black shoes. Edward also wears glasses.

Gardaí believe Edward may have travelled to Kilkenny City.

A spokesperson said: "Gardaí and Edward's family are concerned for his welfare".
