Daisyhouse Housing Association provides support and temporary accommodation for homeless women.

"I have met the women who live there and their commitment and strength is truly inspiring. I am honoured and excited to be part of Daisyhouse," said the charity's ambassador.

The charity provides safe, supported, temporary accommodation to 15 women at any one time. Its unique programmes are designed to empower service users and enable them to move into a permanent home.

Chief executive Orla Gilroy commended the RTÉ broadcaster for "the deep interest she has shown in our work".
