Singer Ronan Keating thinks it's "great" his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly has started using her maiden name again.

The Boyzone singer (38) and the model split in 2011 and Yvonne recently opted to change her name from Keating to Connolly.

"It's her decision - it's great. Good on her," said Ronan.

He is set to marry his fiancée Storm Uechtritz in Scotland on August 21.

"All of our families are going to be there - everyone. Rather than doing it in Australia or in Ireland, we said we'd go to neutral ground and meet there. It's a very special place for us," he said. After the wedding, they hope to relocate to Ireland to be close to Ronan's children.

He was joined yesterday at the Marks and Spencer Marie Keating Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic by celebrities including footballer Ian Wright, rugby legends Shane Byrne and Mike Tindall, and actors Dougray Scott and Stephen Graham.
