The incident was one of more than 100 motoring offences detected by over-stretched gardai during the Donegal International Rally, which ended last night.

Seven people were arrested for dangerous driving while 17 others were arrested for public order offences

The court house incident was filmed and posted to Facebook yesterday by a friend of the driver before being removed.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man whose car crashed outside Letterkenny on March 23 has died in hospital. Darry McDaid had been in a coma since the crash.
