Lynne was heartbroken when she found out that her sick mother could not attend her wedding in Wexford, as she was ill in St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.

Padraic Donohoe of Alcast Motor Factors sponsored the trip when local priest Fr Paddy Banville called and told him about Lynne's situation.

"It was absolutely and utterly amazing," Lynne told the Irish Independent.

"It was incredibly emotional. There were a lot of puffy eyes and all the help from the make up-artist to sort that out," Lynne said.

"I just stuck my head around the corner and all hell broke loose.

"We were there for about half an hour and we got some photos done, had a little chat, a bit of a cuddle and a bit of a cry," she said.
