There will now be a Daily Million draw twice a day, the National Lottery has announced.

Daily Million draws now take place at both 2pm and 9pm, seven days a week, for just €1 per play.

The number draw game, launched in September 2012, awards a top jackpot prize of €1m where six numbers are matched.

Players can win €500,000 with Daily Million Plus if they can mark off six numbers.

There have been 28 Daily Million jackpot and Daily Million Plus winners to date, with over €35m paid out in prizes since the inception of the game.

Dublin, Kerry and Mayo ranked as Ireland’s luckiest Daily Million counties last year.
