ANOTHER cryptic sign has the become the talk of the town after appearing just in time for Valentine’s Day.
There is very little detail on the man – calling himself M - who placed this large billboard in a County Meath village – declaring his love to a woman named Kate.
The billboard, which propped up this week at the entrance to a field on the Ashbourne side of Ratoath village is the latest sighting of the cryptic TUD signs which have been sighted around the country in the past year.
The letters TUD appear on the bottom right hand corner of the billboard – the same letters which appeared on billboards and signs which were shrouded in mystery all around the country in recent times.
They include one which was placed on the side of a trailer parked in a field along the N2 slip road which leads onto the M50.
That sign read 'Golf is a passport for a dirty weekend away with the lads....wake up girls....a niave wife' – and got the country talking.
Other signs placed near Dublin Airport claimed to show images from security cameras in toilets at the airport.
There is little information surrounding the initiative of these signs but the TUD website, which was only recently set up, says “I do solemnly swear to fulfil my New Year's resolution, to cause divilment, general mayhem, be the thorn in the side and the foam pie in the face of all those deserving. Let the fun begin.”
