A mum-of-one left the crowd outside a Dublin pub stunned after she lifted a man over her head 14 times.

Amy O’Halloran (28) was celebrating her birthday in Temple Bar on Saturday when she was challenged to lift a man in the bar.

The osteopath, from Yorkshire, England, exceeded all expectations when she lifted the young man not just once but a total of 14 times.

Ms O’Halloran is an amateur powerlifter and a former cyclo-cross cyclist, and shared footage of her impressive lifting skills on Facebook and Instagram.

The video, which she captioned “had to be done”, has already been viewed 3,500 times.

“I think he was a little bit shocked that I just kept going. My friends know about my powerlifting so they challenged me to see if I could lift a guy and I was up for it,” she told the Sun.

“There were quite a lot of people watching from behind where the footage was filmed. They could not just believe what I was doing.

“The footage has definitely got me a lot of female support.”
