Multiple incidents on the M50 lead to long delays for morning commuters
It has been a tough morning for commuters, after a number of incidents have caused long tailbacks around the country.
The wet weather, coupled with extra travellers due to Christmas festivities, have added to the usual morning traffic.
A breakdown in the fast lane of the M50 just before junction nine at the Red Cow is causing delays all the way back to junction seven near Lucan. There are also delays N2 Finglas Road inbound.
A collision at junction 10 northbound is causing further problems for those using the M50 this morning.
Elsewhere in the country, Gardaí are dealing with an incident on Penrose Quay in Cork.
Traffic is backed up on Horgan's Quay.
