Mountain team called to rescue man after he suffered heart attack on 'Cardiac Hill'

Kerry Mountain Rescue team were called out to rescue a man who suffered from a suspected heart attack on 'Cardiac Hill' near Dinis, Killarney, Co Kerry.

The man (50s) was climbing the mountain when he fell ill at around 2pm yesterday.

Some 16 members of Kerry Mountain Rescue team helped bring the man down the mountain to safety.

An ambulance was waiting for the man at the bottom of the 'Cardiac Hill'.

It was the second time the rescue team were called to the area in recent days as a German walker suffered a leg injury on Easter Sunday.
