Motorists urged to take care as delays on M50 after collision

Motorists are urged to take care after a collision on the M50 southbound earlier today.

The collision occurred at Junction 5 Finglas.

The incident has been cleared but motorists are warned of delays.

According to the AA Roadwatch Gardaí are dealing with another collision near Dublin Airport on the Naul Rd westbound at the Forest Rd jct. Traffic is slow on approach from the Dublin Rd R/A.

In Kildare, delays have improved on the N7 Dublin/Limerick Rd southbound from before J7 Kill past J9 Naas North on the M7. A crash has been cleared between J9 and J10 Naas South.

Motorists have also been warned to take "all necessary precautions" as flooding and high winds hit the country.

AA Roadwatch said that wet roads and surface water in places are likely adding to delays. They advised drivers to slow down and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
