Motorists facing headache as collision leads to '18km of traffic' on busy commuter road
Commuters are facing headaches this morning as traffic chaos hits Dublin.
AA Roadwatch is reporting an 18km queue of traffic on the M4 from J8 Kilcock through to J2 Liffey Valley due to a crash.
As a result of the delays on the M4, traffic is backed up on Chapel Hill into Lucan Village.
On the M1, there are reports of an incident in the median southbound between J5 Balbriggan South and J4 Donabate. AA Roadwatch warned that it is slow on approach.
There is another collision inbound on the N81 at the M50 Interchange. This is causing heavy delays in the area.
Traffic is heavy southbound on the M50 from J5 Finglas to J12 Firhouse. Northbound then is also heavy from J16 Cherrywood to J10 Ballymount and again from J5 to the M1 Interchange.
