Motorcyclist killed after bike collides with truck

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after road traffic accident in Co Meath.

The collision occurred on the R157 Maynooth to Dunboyne Road at around 1.40pm.

The male motorcyclist in his 40s was fatally injured when his motorcycle was in collision with a truck.

The deceased man has been removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown. No one else was injured.

The road is closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination and local diversions are in place.
