Motorcyclist dies following collision

A FATAL motorbike crash yesterday brings to 22 the number of lives lost on the roads so far this year.

A 41-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries yesterday afternoon after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car a few kilometres outside Naas, Co Kildare.

Gardai at Naas confirmed the driver of the car was uninjured following the crash at around 3.20pm at Watch House Cross on the Naas to Ballymore Eustace Road.

The injured motorcyclist was brought to Naas General Hospital but died yesterday evening.
