Motorcyclist arrested in Limerick after being caught travelling at 218km/h

A man was arrested in Limerick after being caught speeding at 218km/h on a motorway.
The incident occurred at Cloghacloka on the Patrickswell motorway at approximately 16:30pm on Sunday.
The man, described as being in his early 30’s, was brought to Henry Street Garda Station.
He was subsequently released and is due to appear before Newcastle West District Court on October 14 to face a dangerous driving charge.

He was driving almost 100kph over the speed limit.
