A MOTHER of two whose body was found in an upstairs room of her home died from a drugs overdose.
The cause of death was established after a post-mortem examination carried out by the State pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy.
Gardai are not disclosing the name of the 35-year-old Latvian woman until family members have been notified.
Gardai found the body after they were called to the woman's home in the centre of Longwood, Co Meath, shortly before 5pm on Monday.
There were no visible injuries to the body and gardai called the State pathologist's office.
The dead woman's partner, who is aged 30, was also in the house and he complained of injuries to his body.
He was taken to Mullingar general hospital for a medical examination and was transferred yesterday to Navan hospital for a further assessment.
