Moriarty makes quiet return to the bench after 14 years
AFTER 14 years chairing the Payment to Politicians Tribunal, Mr Justice Michael Moriarty returned to his day job yesterday.
Mr Moriarty (right) sat in the High Court in Galway, dealing with personal injuries actions.
He entered the building by a back door, declining to pose for photographs.
Dealing with a tragic triple-death case, he showed judicial patience by allowing several adjournments to progress the case, so it did not have to proceed to a full week-long hearing.
