'Mixed messages put Brexit bonus at risk'

A leading Irish law firm has warned that mixed messages from this country are putting efforts to secure post-Brexit foreign direct investment at risk.

Joe Beashel, a partner at Matheson, writes in today's Irish Independent that any perception that this country is 'talking down' its capacity to cater for companies considering moving here could leave decision-makers rattled.

The Finance Minister said that Ireland isn't interested in attracting "brass plate" financial firms to set up here.
