Gardai have confirmed that a pensioner who went missing from a nursing home in a confused state has now been found.
A public appeal went out earlier today to help find Liam O'Halloran (67), a resident of the Tower Nursing Home, on the Cappaghmore Estate in Clondalkin.
He had last been spotted at around 1.30am on Sunday morning at an Esso service station at the Long Mile Road and Naas Road junction.
Mr O'Halloran, who is in poor health and walks with two crutches, went missing from the nursing home and gardai at Ronanstown had appealed for anyone who may have spotted him to phone them.
A Garda press release has now confirmed that the elderly man has been located and is safe and well.
