Daniel (17) was murdered with a shears in the Tolka Valley Park, Blanchardstown, west Dublin, last February.

The two suspects, who were in custody in Wheatfield and Cloverhill jails on unrelated issues, were detained by detectives from Finglas and arrested on suspicion of murder.

They were being held for questioning last night at Finglas and Blanchardstown garda stations.
