The two day rave took place at Kilkenny Cross in Mayo at around 2am on Saturday and continued through until 8am on Sunday, which led to a flood of complaints from residents in the area.

Gardai confirmed a number of drugs seizures were made at the rave.

One woman was arrested and appeared at Dublin District Court over the weekend. She is remanded in custody and is due to appear in a court in Cork on Friday.

Two others were arrested for public order offences and a file will be prepared for the DPP.

The open air event, described as a large dance party with loud DJs took place on private lands.

It’s believed to have been organised on Facebook and many small scale raves have been taking place during the summer.
