Man's body is found in bay
A BODY was recovered from the water on the eastern side of Roaring Water Bay near Ballydehob, west Cork, yesterday.
It was found shortly after 3pm and brought to Schull where gardai and a doctor were waiting.
Gardai later said the body was that of a male. It was brought to the mortuary of Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be held today.
As yet gardai have not established the man's identity. The body was clothed and it is not known how long it was in the water.
There were no reports of missing persons in the area.
