Man’s body found in Galway

GARDAI have sealed off a section of Galway city this morning after the discovery of a man was discovered.

The man is understood to be in his 40s and is believed to be from the area. At this stage the death is not believed to be suspicious.

The body was found at around 7.30am this morning on Shop St, a popular tourist spot in the city. It was discovered between the Treasure Chest and the Galway Camera Shop.

Gardai have sealed off the area and the remains have been removed to University Hospital Galway.
