Manchester terror attack suspect's Irish links
The Department of Justice has refused to comment on reports that the family of a Manchester bombing suspect lived in Dublin.
Ayub Elshetwi (22) was arrested by anti-terror police near Coventry, on Wednesday, while his family home in Nuneaton was also raided for mobile phones and computers.
He was tasered during the arrest, and is still being held by police in the UK.
It is understood his family moved from Tripoli, Libya, to Dublin before moving to the UK - with his sister, Esra (20) believed to have been born in Ireland.
However, a spokesman for the Department of Justice said: "It is never the practice to comment on the detail of any individual case."
