Man stabbed multiple times in late night attack

Gardai are investigating

A man in his 20s was stabbed multiple times in North Dublin last night.

The attack happened in the driveway of a house on Glin Road in Coolock at 11pm last night.

The 29 year-old man suffered several stab wounds as he fought off his attacker.

He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries were described as not life threatening.

The victim is not believed to live at the address where the attack took place.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
