Man shot in legs and ankles during paramilitary-style attack

A 36-year-old man has been shot in a paramilitary punishment-style attack on the outskirts of west Belfast.

He was hit in both legs and both ankles.

The attack happened at Creeslough Gardens in the Lenadoon area at about 11pm last night.

A spokesman for the PSNI said detectives at Grosvenor Road have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
