Man rushed to hospital after late-night stabbing incident

A MAN is in hospital after receiving multiple stab wounds in an attack in the capital last night.

The altercation took place on Church Street in Dublin 7, shortly after 11.30pm.

The man, in his 30s,  is understood to have received a number of stab wounds.

He was rushed to the Mater hospital where he is said to be currently in a stable condition.

No arrests have been made as of yet.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
