Man killed Limerick motorcycle crash

A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Bruff, Co. Limerick today after he collided with a wall.

The crash occurred after 5pm in Kilballyowen, approximately four miles outside of Bruff.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been named.

His remains are still at the scene while a forensics team investigate the area and will be removed to Limerick's Mid Western Hospital later tonight.

Local diversions have been put in place.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact Bruff Garda station on 061 382940.
