Hi °C | Lo °C A MAN in his twenties has been killed in a road accident in Sligo.
The two-car collision occurred on the N4 near Drumfin, Sligo at 8.30pm last night.
The man, who has not been named yet, was killed when his car collided with a second car. He was declared dead at Sligo General Hospital.
The passenger in his car and the driver and passenger of the other car involved in the collision were also taken to Sligo Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
The stretch of road on the N4 where the accident occurred is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
