Man held over cold-case murder
A man in his late 40s was being questioned today over a cold-case murder.
The body of Martin Nolan, 34, was found in July 2000 in woods between Tipperary and Waterford.
He had gone missing in November the year before and the remains of his badly burned body was found in the forest.
A Garda spokesman said the suspect was detained in Dublin Airport after arriving in the country on a flight from Holland.
He was being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and can be kept in custody for 72 hours.
