Man held after shotgun attack

A 20-year-old man was arrested today after a shotgun attack on a home.

The gun was fired through the glass front door of the family home in Drimnagh, south Dublin at about 1am.

The shooting was being linked to an earlier row involving a man and local youths outside the house on Lissadel Drive.

No-one was injured.

The arrested man was being detained under section 50 of the Offences Against the State Act at Crumlin Garda Station.
