Man faces court over fire

A MAN arrested in connection with an alleged arson attack in Co Roscommon which killed five-year-old Mari Connolly is due to appear in court today.
The 33-year-old was arrested for questioning by gardai on Tuesday. He had previously been held last week but was later released without charge.
He will be brought before Ballinasloe District Court this morning.
Meanwhile, a second woman has been arrested for questioning in connection with the blaze at the home of Mari, who died after she became trapped by flames in the house at Termon Road in Boyle early last Monday week.
The woman, who is in her 50s, was being questioned last night at Boyle station about allegedly withholding information about a crime.
