Man dies after falling into River Liffey
THE body of a man was removed from the River Liffey in the centre of Dublin early this morning.
The alarm was raised at around 11pm last night when a man, believed to be in his early 20s, was seen falling into the river at Wellington Quay.
Emergency services were called and a search took place.
A body was recovered at around 1am.
In a separate incident earlier in the night, a man was rescued from the Liffey at the Ha'penny Bridge and taken to St James's hospital.
